Step-by-Step Deployment Guide

1. Download Chrome Enterprise MSI

  • Go to Chrome Enterprise download page.

  • Download the MSI installer (Enterprise version recommended for policy management).

2. Add Chrome to Intune

  • Sign in to Microsoft Endpoint Manager Admin Center.

  • Navigate to Apps > Windows > Add > Line-of-business app.

  • Provide app details (name, description, publisher).

3. Configure Deployment Settings

  • Choose Install behavior (System/User).

4. Assign to Groups

  • Assign Chrome to user/device groups.

  • Choose Required (auto-install) or Available (users install via Company Portal).

5. Deploy Extensions

  • Use Intune Settings Catalog or Custom OMA-URI policies:

    • Add Chrome ADMX templates or JSON configuration.

    • Specify Extension IDs and Update URLs.

    • Configure policies like forced installation, blocked sites, or permissions.

6. Monitor Deployment

  • Go to Intune > Apps > Monitor.

  • Track installation status, success/failure reports.

  • Validate extension deployment via Chrome browser on endpoints.
